The Veterans of Foreign Wars continues to find new ways to bring veterans together, both online and in local communities. One of the newest initiatives is VFW Combat Tested Gaming (CTG), a national program launched in 2023 in partnership with Crew Social Club.
Combat Tested Gaming connects veterans, active-duty service members, and supporters through online gaming, organized events, and an active Discord community. Participants can meet fellow gamers from across the country, find teammates, and stay engaged through a shared interest in gaming.
While gaming may look different than traditional VFW activities, the purpose remains familiar: creating opportunities for connection, engagement, and support among veterans and military communities. CTG provides an online space where members can participate in events, build relationships, and stay connected throughout the year.
The program's Discord server allows members to chat, coordinate teams, share gaming interests, and learn about upcoming leagues and events.
Participation is completely free.
